About AnchoSpot
AnchoSpot is a focused tool with one job: figure out where a piece of anchor text would actually fit on a target website, and hand back a ranked, explainable shortlist instead of a pile of search results to sort through by hand.
Why we built it
Anchor text placement is usually the slowest part of outreach and link building -- not writing the pitch, but finding the right page to pitch in the first place. Most of that time goes into skimming blogs and resource sections that turn out to be a poor fit.
AnchoSpot automates that search step: it crawls the target site, ranks candidate pages by how well they fit the anchor and destination, and surfaces the placements worth pursuing -- so outreach and content teams can spend their time on the pitch itself, not the hunt for where to send it.
Who it's for
Outreach specialists, link builders, and content teams who run this same search by hand today -- open a target site, scan its blog or resources section, guess at fit, repeat for the next domain on the list.
If that's a familiar part of your week, AnchoSpot is meant to replace the manual scanning with a ranked shortlist you can act on right away.
How it actually works
No black box -- the pipeline behind every check is three plain steps, and each result comes back with the reasoning attached.
1. Crawl
We map the target site's public pages -- blog posts, resource hubs, guides -- the same places a human researcher would start looking.
2. Understand meaning, not just keywords
Each candidate page is read for what it's actually about, so a page can surface even if it never uses your exact anchor phrase.
3. Rank and explain
Candidates are scored on topical fit and handed back in order, with a plain-language reason for each one -- so you can sanity-check the suggestion in seconds, not re-do the research.
Meaning levels checked per query -- exact term, core concept, business outcome
Typical time from target site to a ranked shortlist

What we care about
Relevance over volume
A placement that fits the page beats ten that don't. The tool is built to find pages a link genuinely belongs on, not just pages that mention a keyword.
Time back for outreach teams
Manually reading through a site's blog or resources section to find the right page is slow. AnchoSpot exists to compress that research into minutes.
Straightforward by default
No dashboards to configure before you get a useful result. Enter a target site, an anchor, and a destination -- get ranked, explainable suggestions back.
Where we're headed
AnchoSpot started as a single-purpose tool on purpose -- solve the placement-finding problem well before adding anything else. That's still the priority.
From here, most of what we build is aimed at the same goal from different angles: faster checks, clearer explanations for why a page ranked where it did, and support for the edge cases outreach teams run into on real sites -- gated content, thin blogs, sites that structure their resources unusually.
Built by people who did this by hand
AnchoSpot comes out of doing outreach and link-building research the slow way -- tab after tab of a target site's blog, trying to guess whether a page was a real fit before ever reaching out.
That's the whole reason the tool ranks and explains instead of just listing pages: an explainable shortlist is one you can trust enough to act on immediately, the same way you'd trust your own judgment after reading a page yourself.
